Software Developer Engineer UK-based / Remote This is an excellent opportunity to work for an innovative UK cleantech start-up that has developed a software platform to design and model waste recycling processes. Our client's team is developing new products to provide digitalisation services for the recycling industry. As part of their expansion and to develop innovative applications we are looking for a UK-based Software Developer Engineer. The role is about writing code in various languages: JavaScript, Typescript, CSS HTML. Platforms: Angular, NodeJS, Github, and database management systems (SQL). Responsibilities:

• Write well-designed, testable code
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Develop software verification plans and Quality Assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Ensure software is updated with the latest features Requirements and skills:
• Proven work experience (min 3+ years) as a Software Developer or Software Engineer
• Experience in the design of interactive applications
• Ability to develop software in popular languages: JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML
• Excellent knowledge of Open-Source development platforms (Angular, NodeJS, Github) and database management systems (SQL). Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ is also valuable.
• Some knowledge and experience of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies is a plus
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework would be valuable (preferably angular)
• Experience with Agile framework methodology and TDD practices
• Ability to document scope-of-work requirements and project software specifications
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
