The role -

• Reporting to the COO and working closely with product development and support teams you will own and develop the software testing strategy.
• Working in a fast-growing business, you will bring new ideas, process improvements, knowledge sharing and help to develop awareness of testing best practices.
• Building a technical understanding of our products, regulations, and infrastructure.
• Being proactive in supporting the team to improve the quality of our software.
• You are aware quality is a shared responsibility and will advocate and facilitate this.
• Communicating and feeding back to the business and devs about testing, concerns, risks & quality problems,
• Coming up with solutions, agreeing them and driving the change.
• Active participation in meetings, workshops, design reviews etc. and asking constructive/productive questions to bridge communication gaps/identify edge cases.

Requirements -

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software testing with a desire to get stuck-in with testing at all stages.
  • Strong hands-on Web and Mobile testing ability including experience using web-based and API-based automation tools.
  • Functional/UI/API testing experience
  • in generating test ideas
  • automating them
  • test data setup and test environment setup. Experience with executing automated regression tests and reporting on the results. You know what could/should be automated
  • how to write appropriate tests at the right levels and can advocate for good quality practices You understand working towards industry standards/Regulations and can ensure deliverables meet the required regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with your team as well as customers. Experience with bringing new ideas to a team
  • knowledge sharing and supporting the team to improve quality.
• Experience of working within an Agile/DevOps environment.

Good to Have

• Experience Selenium WebDriver with experience of IDEs such as Intellij/Eclipse/Selenium Performance/security testing experience
• Experience developing in C#
• .NET Core 4/6 MS SQL Server experience Azure DevOps experience
