Our Marketing Analytics & Data Insights team is dedicated to growing data-driven decision-making capabilities across the entire Global Marketing Organization. As a team of problem-solvers, we ask ‘how’, ‘why’ and ‘is there a better way’? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed insights manager to help drive this forward with our EMEA Field Marketing team.

Success in the role

To be successful in this role, you will bring a passion for analytics and problem solving, as well as knowledge of marketing automation systems and dashboards. Prior experience tracking lead funnel metrics, pipeline progression and account engagement metrics will allow you to convert data into insights. Exceptional storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills will help you to communicate insights effectively across all levels of the Marketing organization. You will also serve as a critical team player in dashboard and reporting enablement for the EMEA Field Marketing team.

You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Analytics). This will involve switching seamlessly from complex data analysis to communicating trends and actionable insights clearly to senior leaders via dashboards and automated reports.

The work

The primary goal of this position is to deliver insights through KPI and campaign analysis and to support and enable EMEA Field Marketers as they build and grow this skill.

In this role you will work closely with EMEA Marketing Leadership to:

  • Set KPI targets on a bi-annual basis
  • Build and implement lead and pipeline forecasting models
  • Communicate KPI achievement results and actionable insights on a regular cadence
  • Identify opportunities for real time and future enhancement of marketing activities
  • Lead discussions with Senior Leadership to review metrics and align on actions
  • Manage and improve upon existing processes, dashboards and automated reports
  • Enable the EMEA Field Marketers on KPI metrics and how to use our suite of Marketing Dashboards to gain insights, make data driven decisions and lead constructive conversations with Sales.

Leadership

You will be joining the Global Marketing Strategy & Operations organization, a team of 40 professionals spread across three geographies: Americas, Europe and APJ.

You will report to the Director of Marketing Reporting & Data Insight, Linda Vu Nguyen, an experienced analytics leader who joined VMware in 2020. As a team of passionate analytics and reporting professionals, we serve multiple stakeholders in the Global Marketing organization and come together to share insights and learnings so that we can leverage best practices. We are focused on getting the most out of our working life, making sure we have fun while delivering on our business objectives and growing both our personal and team skills. With Linda and other team members located across the US and Australia, we are a distributed team who stay connected via Zoom, Microsoft Teams and online collaboration tools.

Location

The location of this role is flexible within Bulgaria and United Kingdom. Work will be done from an office some days during a week and other days from a non-VMware building.
